What exactly are blinds?

Blinds are a feature of No-Limit Hold’em, and you might have used the word before. They are, though, not as difficult as you would believe.

The small blind and big blind are also comparatively small bets that the two players on the dealer’s immediate left would make before each hand begins. You’re required to bring them in without being able to see your cards, implying that you’re “blind”.
